What This Role Is
We are looking for a Sales Associate to work with inbound leads that come from our website or other avenues and guide them through the sales process and convert them to brand new customers.
An ideal candidate for us would be a proactive forward-thinking sales professional who has the ability to communicate effectively with our customers and who has the passion to grow within the company by taking on additional responsibilities, as and when required.

Responsibilities
- Enter and update Leads/Customer details/profile in SalesForce and perform several checks to qualify the leads
- Make and receive calls & emails to prospects & customers
- Develop product knowledge for all our products (differences, options, benefits of our various product ranges) to effectively be able to impart that knowledge to the customer and answer any questions that they may have
- Regularly follow up with prospects by calling and record each and every correspondence on our system
- Build rapport and relationship with customers by providing WOW customer service which is our company’s first core value
- Monthly mailers - including postcards, brochures to leads and customers
- MIA customers ( Missing in Action) - call and email / follow up with these customers to understand why they have stopped purchasing from us and how we can help
- Drip email marketing - creating and sending various emails to leads and customers
- Showroom assistance
- Running errands or picking things up or traveling to and fro from our showroom (Atlanta downtown), as needed
- Showroom setups - may involve lifting some medium-heavy items/products
- Assist with entering orders in our system (Navision) and invoicing, including performing other Customer Service related duties when short staffed
- Be prepared to take on ad hoc tasks/projects, as assigned
Skills and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Excellent communication and sales skills
- Be at intermediate to advanced level in computer operation (Office, Google Drive, MS Excel (V-Look up will be a plus)
- Must be Proactive and be able to work independently and diligently with minimum supervision
- Needs to be well organized and be willing to go the extra mile and take on additional responsibilities, when required
- Should be able to pass a background check
- Willingness to work weekends and late hours, as needed, and also travel out of state for shows
- Experience with Navision and SalesForce is a plus

- We are a wholesale distributor of primitive home decor and handbags. This means we distribute Homespice products from our own warehouse in Tucker to retail shops and consumers across the globe. We work closely with skilled artisans and creatives to create beautiful, classic American decor for our customers.
